With the club year ending officially with the Annual Exhibition in Newport Pagnell at the end of June/beginning of July the summer recess is taken over the months of July and August. However just because there are no 'official' meetings arranged doesn't mean that club members don't meet during the summer months.
Milton Keynes, where our society is based, is, contrary to popular belief, a very green and pleasant town (despite local voices claiming MK's status as a City we are still a town.) and given the extra length of the days during July and August it's a perfect time to get out during the evenings to photograph the flora, fauna, landscapes and buildings of Milton Keynes.
As well as the beauty of Milton Keynes there are also several evenings when we photograph some of the models who normally sit for us during the practical/studio evenings.
Invariably though the evening ends with a few swift beverages in a local hostelry where we can all bemoan the lack of decent lighting or the light breeze which blew at just the wrong time and spoilt things for us.
So if you're feeling inquizative and want to see what's on the summer programme pages then please do, but check back often as not all the details are their yet and you don't want to miss some of the great evenings we have planned.
