Piddington Station House, Horton.

This private house, which used to be a railway station, is very pretty. Several members of Focus visited earlier in the year. It is owned by Graham and Sheila Alsopp’s daughter. As I will be away, Graham and Sheila have kindly agreed to act as coordinators.

Venue: Piddington Station House, Denton Road, Horton, NN7 2BG. A sign will be placed by the entrance, which is just N.E. of Station Farm on the Denton Road.

Colin comments: “ The station itself is great and has potential for some good close-up and still life studies and also for some stunning sunsets, here’s one I took earlier, and of course sunset is at a very reasonable time too.”
