The following rules are specifically for this year's OPEN Competition.

1. This Competition is totally separate from all other club competitions, both Internal and External Competitions.
   
   
2. Only NEW work, taken between last year’s OPEN and this year’s OPEN i.e. May 2006 to May 2007 is eligible for entry.
   
   Work may have been entered in this season's internal competitions or may be NEW WORK not shown before. (This competition is specifically for pictures taken and processed during the current club season)
   
   
3. Entries may be monochrome or colour print or digital images for projection.
   
   
4. There will be a maximum number of entries per author for each of the two media sections. (See programme and entry form)
   
   
5. An entry form will need to be completed to itemise all work submitted. This must be handed to the competition secretary at the time of handing in entries.
   
   
6. There will be an entry fee levied for each entry submitted. This must be paid to the competition secretary at the time of handing in entries.
   
   
7. Submission size and labelling rules apply to all entries in accordance with regular club internal competitions (see sections 5 and 6 of internal competitions rules for submitting entries)
   
   
8. From both media sections, the judge will be required to select an over all winner who will receive the OPEN trophy.
